Welcome to the YCS Education Divison!!
Our 4 sister schools offer a continuum of education from 5-21+, as well as a consistent flow of behavior management and transition. The transition from the two elementary schools to the high school in Ft.Lee or the alternative high school in Irvington is a seamless process and provides stabilization for the students.
The clinicians, teaching staffs and administrators all collaborate for continuity of programming and transitioning students back to your district. YCS has identified the need for a BCBA in our Behavior Disordered programs. More and more of our students are needier in all areas of their lives and I am pleased to inform you that we will now offer that service for the upcoming school year.
We have also assessed the amazing art talents of our students and will be partnering with NJPAC for in-school residences and assemblies for the 2016-2017 school year. We are very excited!! If you have an opportunity please go to our websites to see more about each school. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions you may have about any of our schools.
We would like to thank you for all the corroborative work done with the YCS George Washington School, YCS Ernest May Academy, YCS Ft. Lee Education Center and YCS Independence High School as advocates for our children for the 2015-2016 school year.
I look forward to our continued collaboration with your district and providing the appropriate placements for your students. Together we can assure a successful 2016-2017 school year for all our students!!
